St Mary’s Primary School

Assistant Principal

Position Details

We are seeking a vibrant, faith-filled, and collaborative leader to join our visionary team. The Assistant Principal position is full-time ongoing and will commence on 1st January 2026.

St Mary’s is a double-stream, co-educational Catholic Primary School catering for children from Pre-Kindergarten to Year Six. Our committed and enthusiastic staff work in partnership with the parish, families and the wider community to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where every child can reach their potential.

The successful applicant will bring both expertise and personal authenticity—someone who leads with purpose, builds the capacity of others, and inspires confidence through genuine relationships. As an exemplary educator, they will demonstrate a deep understanding of curriculum, student development and pastoral care, and will contribute to a culture of excellence, inclusion, and shared responsibility.

In our 125th year of Catholic education in the Goldfields, St Mary’s continues to honour its proud heritage while embracing innovation and growth. Nestled in the heart of Kalgoorlie, our school offers a welcoming community, modern facilities, and a strong sense of belonging.
