Early Childhood Teacher (Kindergarten)

A vacancy exists for an Early Childhood Teacher commencing Term 1 2021. This is a 0.2 temporary position to the end of 2020.   

 

St Mary's Primary School is a double stream co-educational Catholic Primary School catering for children from Kindergarten to Year 6. St Mary's is a dynamic, vibrant and innovative school with an emphasis on developing a strong sense of Christian community. The teaching programs strengthen and enhance learning opportunities across all Curriculum Areas. Current resources and excellent facilities are a feature of the school environment.

 

St Mary's Primary School enjoys a strong relationship with the parish, and for over 100 years, has played an important role in the establishment of Catholic Education in the Goldfields. The historical and picturesque school is located in the centre of Kalgoorlie.

The successful applicant will:
* Have the ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively as part of an enthusiastic and committed team
* Have a practical understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
* Be able to demonstrate flexibility and initiative
* Have a high degree of professionalism, and excellent communication skills
* Have a preparedness to be fully involved in all School activities.

* Have an Early Childhood Teaching Qualification. (preferred)

 

 

Applicants must be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic education and hold current registration as a teacher with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia, to be eligible for appointment.
