Part-Time School Maintenance Officer

​

We’re looking for a reliable, practical, and hands-on Maintenance Officer to help keep our school safe, clean, and welcoming.

​

Key Responsibilities:

· Minor repairs and general maintenance across school buildings and grounds

· Support Grounds person as needed

· Safety checks and reporting maintenance issues

· Setting up and packing down for school events (eg sports carnivals)

· Liaising with external contractors when required

· Ensuring work is completed in line with WHS requirements

​

 

About you:

· Practical, reliable, and able to work independently

· Experience in trades or maintenance desirable

· Able to work safely around children and staff

· Must have (or obtain) Working with Children & Police Checks

​

 

Hours:

15 hours/week, 3 hours per day (Mon-Fri) - flexible, with possible extra hours.

 

Hourly rate:

In line with CEWA Support Staff classification, pro‑rata ($35–$45/hr, depending on experience and classification level).
